ATTACHMENT : PRISON OR PARADISE?

As we journey through our life we naturally experience both things we want and things we want to avoid. This is perfectly normal and healthy. A ‘thing’ in this context could be an experience like a feeling, a thought or action or some material objects.

Many of us have ( or have not ) found out perfect partner, perfect friends, perfect job or perfect home. This is indeed a wonderful world we live with, so much to be enjoyed ( or avoided ) as to the extent our happiness, well-being and inner bliss can come to overly rely on other sources for what is essentially our peace of mind.

Hypnotherapy and Coaching Newcastle

Problems can surface when we do lose ‘things’ and when we simply can’t have others, that is, when there is strong attachment involved which has the potential to be a self made prison and torture chamber.

This translates to our experiencing desires and losses painfully and as such one of the major problems to overcome in life are our attachments that ultimately are barriers to freedom and a mostly peaceful state of mind.

THIS MODULE WE WILL BE EXPLORING methods and practices that can help deal with problem attachments in a variety of ways.
