The vast majority of personal problems and issues is about internal conflict of primary emotion and conflicting thought. An exploration and honest peace plan that comes from the inside out.

The concept of parts is well known in the field of psychotherapy. The simple idea being we as people are composed of psychological parts or components of our identity of self concept. Parts are holons. A holon is a term created by Arthur Koestler to describe the inter connectives or inter related aspects of systems.

For example an atom is made up of sub atomic particles such as electrons, neutrons and protons, which are themselves composed of smaller particles. A molecule is made up of atoms. Cells are composed of molecules and so on; each entity is a holon or a simultaneous whole part.

Holons are a convenient way to describe the concept of psychological parts. In part because any aspect of the psyche is described by a lable or perceptual frame. The label or frame simultaneously highlights and hides certain aspects of the whole, these may be narratives, frames or schemas in thought or in experience. For example Hero may highlight heroic actions and strength of character, coming through certain events and tests. Hero simultaneously co-defines villain or anti-hero and what can be hidden or even mutually exclusive are cultural beliefs, the need for a hero and the immutable tides of transformational change.

This is where the concept of psychological parts is accented. In terms of personal transition from embedded and intractable problems we begin to see a chance of freedom from tyranny and the evolution of self. What is an essential tension prior to any kind of freedom of choice is a transitional period of seemingly mutually exclusive thought forms or beliefs and values.

When we realise we need change and positive change at that there is a certain kind of realisation that amounts to both a death and rebirth of who we are. We are no longer trapped by thoughts, beliefs and feelings because we have both a cognitive and experiential experience that any dis empowering ideas, thoughts and actions are in essence no us. This is the process of dis identifying or objectifying  what is no more our essence but what we can recognise as aspects of our consciousness in awareness.

The exploration of this Trance Cafe and NLP Cafe is to both recognise and see the hidden aspects of seemingly problematic ways of thinking and being so we have as a human being a very important distinction between Self and Object ( or Subject ). This is a very real or at least possible path to knowing our birthright and who we may be. This is a pathway to peace with powerful inspiration to create and connect.
